SilverTech Summit runs on the belief that the best solutions for aging well are built with seniors and caregivers, not just for them. Throughout the day of the summit, stop by our Build With Us station to share an idea for a product, service, or improvement that would make life easier, safer, or more connected as we age.
Our station will be hosted by Crystal Blackburn, a Machine Learning Analyst specializing in Healthcare AI and Data Analytics. She will be there to help you fill out a short idea form, it takes just a few minutes, and you're welcome to have someone write it down for you if that's easier. All ideas are welcome, from small tweaks to big concepts.

SilverTech Summit is designed to include older adults as active participants in the conversation about aging well. We want to hear what feels useful, what feels realistic, what feels respectful and what is missing.
Whether you are an older adult, family caregiver, community member, or someone supporting aging parents or grandparents, your lived experience matters.
At the Summit, seniors and community members will have opportunities to:

You don't have to be "techy" to belong here.
35% of older Canadians experience some degree of loneliness, and nearly one in three does not report a strong sense of belonging to their community. Two Summit sessions will bring seniors, community leaders and innovators together to explore how we can reduce isolation and ensure no one is left behind.
You may come with curiosity, concerns, lived experience, questions, or ideas. All of that belongs here.
Whether the topic is health, housing, transportation, home support, recreation, safety, connection, caregiving, or everyday life, your perspective helps others understand what actually matters.
